I feel very fortunate to have been able to fuse my career(s) with my passions. It hasn’t felt like work, most of the time. Though they seem quite disparate–wilderness guide, school teacher, biofuels researcher–they’re connected in fairly clear ways.
While I hope to finish this PhD in June, 2010, and earn a job in the energy industry, I will always remain interested in education and ecology. In these pages you can read about various projects that have kept me connected, working at the intersections between these fields.
