It hasn’t felt like work, most of the time. Though they seem quite disparate–wilderness guide, school teacher, biofuels researcher–they’re connected in fairly clear ways.

While I hope to finish this PhD in June, 2010, and earn a job in the energy industry, I will always remain interested in education and ecology. In these pages you can read about various projects that have kept me connected, working at the intersections between these fields.
